Very well written story by a man who certainly knows lot about Thailand,Canada and the UK. I may only speculate if he was not at one time a member of SAS (special air services UK). Personally, I would not seek a revenge the way the protagonist in this story did.But, people have very different ways to deal with emotional issues.

As a Brit, I thoroughly enjoy stories of Special Air Service exploits, both factual and fictional. I have, however, found that much of today’s SAS fiction to be trite and full of overblown Boy’s Own derring-do. So it was a pleasure to find one with its feet on the ground. This is undoubtedly the finest SAS short story I have ever read.
Tightly focused and very well written, with a believable plot and solid characters you can relate to, the tale is simple in essence; two ex-SAS soldiers, close friends brought into conflict over their passion for the same beautiful woman. What follows I won’t disclose; but it is dramatic. I was held from the first line. The denouement is sound and totally satisfying and the final surprise twist at the end superb. A fine and enjoyable read. Highly recommended.
